Mahi Mahi Fish Curry | Easy & Tasty Fish Curry Recipe | Mahi Mahi Recipe | Kerala Fish curry Recipe

A recipe to make delicious Mahi Mahi Fish Curry. It is a Kerala style fish curry recipe.

Ingredients:
Mahi Mahi – 10 pcs, medium size
Onion – 1 cup, chopped
Ginger – 2 tbsp, chopped
Garlic – 3, chopped
Green chili – 8-10
Curry Leaves – 2-3 sprigs
Vadukampuli (Kudampuli) Cambogia – 4-5 pieces
Coriander powder – 3 tsp
Chili powder – 2 tsp
Fenugreek powder – 3/4 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Kayam (Hing) – 1/4 tsp
Coconut oil
Salt to taste

Directions:
1. Clean and cut mahi mahi fish into medium sized pieces.
2. Chop onions, garlic, ginger, and slit the green chili and clean curry leaves. Keep them aside.
3. Soak and clean vadukampuli (cambogia) (if you want to soak them quickly, put them in hot water.)
4. Heat a clay pot or pan and put some coconut oil and add ginger, garlic, green chili, and curry leaf. Sautee for 2-3 mins.
5. Add chopped onions to it. Sautee for 3 mins.
6. Add vadukanpuli to it. Sautee for 3 mins.
7. Lower the flame and add all the masala to it. Sautee for 2-4 mins and also add salt and mix it well.
8. Add enough water to this mixture to make gravy. Cover the pot and bring to boil. Once its starting to boil, add clean fish to it and then cover the pot and cook for another 10 mins.
9.After that, switch off the flame and add some curry leaves to it.
Place to a serving bowl and Mahi Mahi curry is ready to serve. It can be served with rice and cabbage thoran.
