Recipe: Chukandar Gosht
Ingredients:
Onions 2 – Medium size ( chopped for frying)
Red Chili powder – 2 tsoon
Coriander Powder – 2 tspoon
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tspoon
Cumin Seeds – 1/3 tspoon
Cinnamon Stick – 2 – 4
Cloves – 3 – 4
Cardamon – 3 – 4
Ginger/Garlic paste – 5 – 6 tablespoon
Meat – 1 Kg with bone
Beetroot 7 – 9 (boiled, peeled and cut)
Method:
In a wok, add cooking oil and fry onions till light brown, now add 5 tablespoons of ginger/garlic paste. Saute till the raw smell is gone. Add coriander, chili, turmeric powder and salt. Saute properly add water if required. Now add Cardamon, cumin seeds, cloves and cinnamon stick. Saute again and add meat. Mix well. Put on the lid and let it cook till the meat is tender. Add beetroot when the meat is tender and again let it simmer for 15 mins. After 15 mins turn off the flame and sprinkle cumin powder. Put on the lid.
