Senai Kara Curry
Ingredients
1. Senai / Suran – 250 g
2. Red chili – 3
3. Kashmiri Chili – 3
4. Dry coconut – 1/2 coconut
5. Rice – 1 tbsp roasted
6. coriander seeds – 1 tbsp roasted
7. Toor dal/urad dal/chana dal – 1 tsp each
8. Till – 1 tsp roasted
9. Pepper corn – 10 nos
10. Tamaring – small marble size , juice extracted
Method
1. Cook suran for 1 whistle
1. Temper mustard in gingelly oil
2. Shallow fry suran
3. Grind coconut and chili first and then add rice, coriander seeds, dal and till to a coarse powder
4. Add tamarind juice and salt
5. Add the ground seasoning powder
