Easy Recipes: 3 Meat Chili | The Best Chili Recipe

Electric skillet (aff link)

2 pounds ground sirloin
1 pound stew beef, cut into small pieces
1/2 pound bacon, cut into small pieces
1 large onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
4.5 oz can diced green chilis
28 oz crushed tomatoes
12 oz tomato paste
2 tbsp chili powder
1 1/2 tsp mustard powder
2 tsp crushed red pepper
2 tbsp cumin
1 1/2 tbsp oregano
2 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper
2 tbsp raw honey
1 or 2 squares Lindt 90% dark chocolate
5 cups water

1: in a pot, begin to brown all of the meat. Once the meat is halfway done, add in the onion, and cook until the meat is done.

2: Add in all of the spices, and garlic. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

3: Add in the rest of the ingredients, and stir thoroughly.

4: Cover and simmer for 1 to 2 hours, until thickened. I cook mine on a relatively high simmer, but if you cook yours at a lower type simmer, you may need to extend the cooking time to three or four hours, to get to the thickness you like.

I like to top mine with sour cream, chopped green onions, and cheese.
