Ingredients:
Green Chilies: 10 Nos
Gingelly Oil: 2 Tbsp
Mustard Seeds: 1/4 Tsp
Fennel Seeds: 1/4 Tsp
Salt: 1/4 Tsp
Turmeric Powder: 1/4 Tsp
Vinegar: 3 Tbsp
Method:
1. Today lets check out how to make green chilli pickle. This goes best with curd rice and type of variety rice. This is a very easy recipe with a very few ingredients so, lets quickly check out the ingredients and get started.
2. Today I have about 10 fresh green chillies. Clean wash it and keep it ready. Now chop the into small pieces like this. Keep it ready.
3. Heat a pan and add a 2 tbsp of gingelly oil. keep the flame in medium till the end. When the oil is nice and hot, add 1/4 tsp of mustard seeds and 1/4 tsp of fennel seeds. Allow them to splutter, then add the chopped green chillies and give it a quick mix. Then to this add 1/4 tsp of salt and 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder. Give it a nice mix and close it with a lid and let this cook for 2 mins in low flame.
4. After a minute, open and give it a quick mix. Then again close and cook for another minute. After 2 mins open and check, the green chilies are well done and ready, so off the flame and add 3 tbsp of vinegar and mix it well. If you don’t have vinegar you can go with 3 tbsp of lemon juice.
5. Now our spicy green green chilli pickle is ready, you can serve it with some curd rice and enjoy with your family and friends.
