Hell yeah hehe …. waut Texas chile is really a cultural native dish not from some white dudes in Texas. Chili and Texas chile are 2 different things using basically similar ingredients with or with out a special thing or 2. Just like ettoufe, gumbo, smothered and jambalaya all have similar ingredients from thuer region.

Looks so good! Put some masa harina in there right at the end. Gets it thick and adds good flavor.

Make that on the smoker at 250. it will add a whole other dimension.
