Sesame chicken | Chicken Kendo

Ingredients:

Chicken Breast (450gm)
1 onion (cut in dice shape)
1 bell pepper (cut in dice shape)
4 garlic cloves (chopped)
1 inch ginger (julienne cut)
1 scallion – cut it in small slices.

1 Cup – Corn flour
1 Tsp Black pepper Crushed or Powdered
1 Tsp Salt
2 to 3 Tbsp Rice flour

For Chicken Marination:
Cut the chicken into cube shape.
1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp. Sesame oil
1 Tsp. Brown sugar

1 Egg white
Pinch of Five Spices (Five Spices is blend of Star Anise, Cloves, Cinnamon, Sichuan Peppercorn & Fennel Seeds)
Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients and leave it for 30 minutes.

For Sauce:
2.5 Tbsp. Light Soy Sauce
2.5 Tbsp. Sesame oil
1 Tbsp Rice vinegar
2.5 Tbsp. Ketchup
2 Tbsp Honey
½ Tsp. Fresh Ginger
½ Tsp Fresh Garlic
3 Tbsp. Water
Add water and mix.

Process:
In a bowl add 1cup of corn flour, black pepper, salt and rice flour and mix.

Put all the marinated chicken in flour mix.
Coat the chicken with flour.

For Frying.
In a wok heat the oil to 180c
Now add the chicken and deep fry until golden brown.

In a separate wok add 2 tbsp of oil.
Add garlic, ginger, onion and stir fry for 1min.
Then add bell pepper
Add sauce and stir fry. For another 1min
Add spring onion.
Now add fried chicken and mix.
stir fry for 1 to 2 minutes.
in the end add 2 to 3 tbsp. of Sesame seeds and mix.
Sesame chicken is ready.
