I’m over wintering some of my scotch bonnet plants that i grew this past summer and noticed that they are turning black towards the ends of the stems. This happened to one of my plants a few weeks ago and many comments said that it was from disease from not properly cleaning my cutting tools. This time i made sure I cleaned my pruning scissors with alcohol. One of my plants is doing just fine but this one is turning black. Should i cut the black pieces off or will it be okay if I just leave it?
