A simple roasted salsa to go with homemade tortilla chips

  1. 2 lbs tomatoes (I used 4 Campari, 1 large Roma, and 1 big boy from my garden)

    4 cloves garlic

    3/4 sweet onion (1/2 roasted, 1/4 diced and stirred in at the end)

    2 jalapeños

    2 serranos (not roasted)

    1 bunch cilantro

    Juice from 1 lime

    1 tsp salt

    Roast ingredients other than the serranos, cilantro, and 1/4 onion at 450F for 10 minutes. Add serranos and cilantro to food processor and pulse til desired consistency. Stir in remaining diced onion.

    How do you do the chips? I tried frying pieces of a tortilla and it came out like burnt tortilla instead of chips
