Peppers

What are these yellow peppers?

I’ve got them labeled as Gardiniera peppers, but they don’t seem to match the photos I see online.

Thanks!

I have lemon ghost jalapeños that look very similar, but these look at little stumpier

I grow these and the seed said Aji Pineapple. Nice tingle to the lips.

Lemon drops. Personal favorites. Enjoy em.

I don’t think it’s a lemon drop. The calyx and pod shape look like capsicum chinense, so my guess is Fatalii Yellow.

Easy way to tell is the flowers; Lemon Drops are Capsicum Baccatum, which have white flower petals with small yellow spots on the middle of each petal. Capsicum chinense, like fatalii, have smaller, pale green or whitish petals with no spots on them.

I don’t agree with the people saying it’s a Lemon Drop. How does the inside of the flower look?

  6. Definitely looks chinense-y. A baccatum has little yellow spots on the flower petals, so that’d tell you for sure. I’d definitely taste test a little piece before biting into one or making a dish or sauce way too hot.

My first thought was yellow ghost, but it may be a different chinense
