    Still cheap. $.25 in the 1960s is about $2.50 today. $.10 for soda was about a $1 too.

    The picture is too low quality to make it out, but beneath each menu item (other than the Bellburger) they even included phonetic spellings because some guests would be seeing these words for the first time

    What people don’t remember is how as soon as you said your first item they wrote it on an overhead board, so the cooks could see it and would start making your food BEFORE the order was complete. Once you got your change and drinks the food was ready.
