How I cook for the week, recipe one: Chili with stew meat and black beans.

Recipe:

2 Pounds stew meat
1 onion
2 cans tomato sauce
1 cup dry black beans
Red pepper flakes, chili powder, paprika, cayenne, cumin – all to taste

Brown onion and meat together with oil or butter
Add other ingredients plus 1-2 cans of water.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Cook at least 2 hours with a gentle simmer or all day.
